Subject is a very radical Porsche 911 3.2 short stroke race engine prepared for SCCA GT2. Fuel and ignition management will be handled by a E11v2. Since this is a twin plug engine, I believe if LS1's were used, 12 would be needed. That makes for a ridiculously crowded ignition array. Our prefference would be to use on plug coils. What are the general suggestions as far as ones that would work with the Haltech and what other options would be required.

Hello-

I was wondering if you guys could help me clear up some confussion. I have an 2002 is300 with the 2jz-ge VVT-i motor. I am planning on installing a turbo system form SRT, which came with the Haltech F10x. I decided that I want to swap cams out and use aftermarket camshafts, possibly HKS 264's or 272's that will be machined to fit the GE head and will eliminate the VVt-i. Now my question is am I good to go in using the F10x with aftermarket cams? I have been told sure no problem...

Hello all,

In a recent post on another Haltech forum i was asking around about doing fixed boost control in a similar fashion than like a low boost high boost deal in most popular boost controller setups and we basically came to the conclusion that using a steering wheel mounted button connected to the trim input connector on the Haltech harness and a couple of resistors you can in fact have 4 different stages of boost control with your Haltech ECU.

Yes, 4 stages!, how do you...

I am having a problem with the engine leaning out momentarily just when I open the throttle up at idle (900-1000 rpm). The A/F meter shoots to lean momentarily and the rpm's drop 100-200 rpm until the engine recovers. This only seems a problem when opening the throttle right at idle. I've tried lots of variation with the throttle pump settings (I'm using firmware 32, Halrun V1.71) including increasing the injector times and number of pulses. These changes help somewhat, but the engine still...
